Somewhere between their first kiss and their wedding vows, they realized they shared a common interest in kinky sex. It all started when Liana found a BDSM porno lying around Dan's apartment. They started attending Paddles NYC, a famous BDSM club. The only problem was that Paddles didn't allow sex. So they would spend a few hours playing and watching others play with whips and chains, then had to commute over an hour by subway back to Dan's place just to have sex. So they made an online profile to see if they could find some local people into BDSM who would want to hang out with them. What they got instead was an invitation to DDevious Delights, a Manhattan-based club that featured both BDSM and... swinging?

Swinging was something they had never discussed. They decided to go just to see what things were like. At the party they had sex in public for the first time in their lives. They enjoyed it so much that they decided to come back for one of their non-BDSM swinger parties. At the next party a sexy young lady pulled Liana aside and gave her her very first real girl-girl experience.

At the next party they attended a sexy young couple approached them and began flirting. Daniel and Liana had been attending these parties only intending to watch and be watched. But later in the evening the same couple came bounding up to them naked and asked them "Do you swap?" Daniel and Liana looked at each other. Liana shrugged, "I'm OK with it if you are." Dan did the same. Suddenly, and with very little forethought or planning, they were having their first true swinging encounter!

After that night, they were hooked. They made some regular playmates and tried out different things and generally had a lot of fun. They exchanged their BDSM online profile for a swingers' profile, but always kept BDSM in the back of their mind.

Soon after their wedding they moved to Albany, NY. Not wanting to lose their fabulous swinging lifestyle simply because of geography, they created their own group, the Bacchus Society. They throw bi-weekly on-premise play parties called playgroups where attractive couples and single women aged 18 - 40 get together for flirtation, conversation, and as much sexy fun as they're comfortable with. As of March of 2009 they're now up to 230 couples and over 30 single women! They have held two dozen playgroups, several social outings, and a larger party in the VIP room of a strip club. They've also branched out and created Sappho, a related group that's only for ladies. In the course of the next couple years, Daniel and Liana are hoping to acquire a larger venue where we can have a wider variety of Bacchus Society events.
