There's a reason Paige was voted "Quiet and Studious in class but Freaky on the weekends" when she was in college and why Nick's fraternity brothers were always waiting to see "what that guy will do next". They both live with a desire to push the limits and reap everything that life has to offer them.

The two met in undergrad. Paige and her girlfriends were out at a bar one night. Nick and his friend Mark wound up at the same bar. It all boiled down to this: Paige's friend, Carolyn, was interested in Mark. Nick thought it would be a good idea for them to shack up. Paige thought otherwise. And the battle began. Soon the debate on whether Carolyn should go home with Mark turned in to a dispute on who was going to get their way. Paige won. And if you've met her you'd understand why.

After that Nick was hooked.

"She's beautiful and she's smarter than me. I didn't stand a chance." was Nick's first recollection of her.

Nick and Paige became rivals at bar trivia, with the games usually boiling down to the two of them head to head for a free bar tab. The rivalry soon turned to heavy flirting. The two couldn't deny the attraction. Although if you ask either one of them they'll tell you "(s)he was supposed to be my summer fling!"

The mental sparing had gone on for quite some time, and finally one day Nick asked Paige," Why haven't you and I ever gone out?"

Paige's response was simply, "Because you've never asked."

That was quickly remedied that evening. And their first date took place just a few days later. Dinner and movie led them to discover another shared love: horror movies. Nick rented a copy of the Exorcist. That's where it all began.

After that night the two of them were inseparable. They became known as the wild party couple at college, that fun and unpredictable couple that would try anything TWICE (a second time just to make sure they didn't miss anything the first time). It came as no surprise to family and friends when they entered a contest to get married in Las Vegas, and won! With only three weeks notice Paige and Nick were married in Sin City.
