Megan and Ryan met in Spanish class during their sophomore year at the University of Colorado. They had grown up so close to each other that their high schools had been arch rivals, yet the two had never met. It was the first day of class and Ryan sat down at the desk next to Megan, the quiet, shy girl.

Megan could not help but notice Ryan eyes every time she looked his way, but she was a little put off by how sure of himself he acted, even cocky and pretentious. Megan remained reserved and disinterested, even when Ryan asked her questions about herself. But when he happened to mention that he had traveled to Europe and Thailand, it was Ryan's lucky break. Megan had never left the state and had always wanted to travel herself. She suddenly began to find Ryan very interesting.

Ryan thought Megan was a beautiful, amazing girl and he wanted to get to know her better. Being persistent, he took a chance and asked her to go to coffee after class one day. They ended up talking for hours. Megan opened up when she found they had so much in common and just how effortless it was to share with Ryan. She was also surprised by how approachable and down to earth he was with her. She had been wrong about her first impression of him. And more importantly, Ryan was genuinely interested in getting to know her as a person, not just in her looks. That was the most flattering thing he could have ever done for her.

From then on, Megan and Ryan were inseparable. Things moved fast in their relationship: They married, backpacked through the Andes for their honeymoon, bought a house and had two little girls.

Both were raised in a conservative, traditional and routine household. Ryan was raised Protestant and went to a private school. Megan was raised Catholic and it was very much a part of her family's life and how she was raised. But when Megan and Ryan met each other, something seemed to click. Together they felt like anything was possible. They were willing to push the limits on anything they could. Even ideas that they'd been raised to believe as "Taboo".

Megan had flirted with girlfriends growing up and had even visualized being with women, but she had never acted on it. Ryan was the first person she ever felt comfortable enough to tell about her girl crushes.

About a year ago Ryan and Megan were out drinking with some friends and eventually ended up back at the other couple's house. With inhibitions loosened, one thing led to another and the girls started playing together in the bedroom. After watching their wives for a while the men joined in. There was tremendous passion between all four of them. Everyone let go and was lost in the moment, going with the mood.

The next morning Megan and Ryan were gleeful about how much they had enjoyed the previous night, and how much fun the two of them had with their friends. Although they had discussed their fantasies together before, having an open relationship never came up between the two of them. They became jubilant about the prospect of opening up their relationship to the outside world.
