OUR COUPLE OF THE MONTH August 2009

Richard and Jane are Kasidie's Couple of the Month
Richard & Jane are Kasidie's...
Couple of the Month

Writer and Talk show host Rich Woods, and Internet model Jane Dior are better known as the non de plume couple "Dick and Jane"... Their exploits have taken them all over the country appearing at adult oriented conventions and giving interviews on the radio... however they are simply known to their friends and family by their real names, Jay & Tina.

Although they are "out" about their lifestyle, and comings and goings to the people in their everyday lives, it is their public lives that have inspired their pen and stage names. In Fact, being known "swingers" is what they give credit for much of their personal success, which is extraordinary when you consider that neither is in a lifestyle related business.

"It's a weird lineage," says Rich, "as to how we have become known by these names more than our own. When Jane started modeling and we began covering some Adult Expos for trade publications, it was more of a way to insulate her from over-zealous fans. That world is a lot different from the Swinger world... not everyone who attends is respectful of people's private lives or personal boundaries."

When Rich began writing his first book, "UnLearn! Because Life Can Make You Stupid", they maintained their personas in order to market to the existing fan base. "People knew us, so we went with it". It has worked well, earning them spots on "The Sex with Emily" show, Playboy Radio's "Afternoon Advice with Tiffany Granath" and perhaps their most notable appearance on the Opie and Anthony Radio show.

"The O&A gig was a lot of fun," commented Jane. "They treated us really well, and we got to meet some of our closest friends as a result. It exposed us to a huge community." In fact, when Rich decided to host his own weekly talk show, his partner Rocko was someone he met through that community, and their initial audience was comprised largely of the people who were crossover O&A fans. "The success of www.Unlearntheshow.com is amazing to me. We manage to get a couple of thousand people to watch us weekly without having marketed ourselves yet," says Woods. "We wanted to wait until we found a formula that worked before we advertised ourselves." They just may have stumbled upon it naturally.

This is definitely not a "swinger" show by any means, Rocko is much more of a politically conservative than Rich, and he and his live-in girlfriend (easy on the eyes show producer Nora) are not in the lifestyle. "The show is more of a satirical socio/political overview. Basically we are two morons having a few beers and sharing our views on the world. When it comes right down to it, I'm an atheist, libertarian swinger who has no problem voicing my opinion." Indeed he doesn't.

“...being known swingers is what they give credit
for much of their personal success...”

"UnLearn the Show" is not for the faint of heart, and if one has any preference for political correct verbiage, it might not be the show for you. "We make fun of everything, and we say some really awful, offensive shit." Says Rich "If you believe Don Imus should have been fired for saying the words "Nappy Headed Ho", not only shouldn't you watch our show, you should grow an inoperable brain tumor and lose your motor functions. The first amendment guarantees the right of freedom of speech, not the right for sensitive little jizzbags to not be offended".
