JOURNALISTIC ARTICLES
We are looking for smartly written news articles covering all aspects of the Lifestyle. Subject matter can range from swinger culture, health, sexual politics, science, opinions, to just about anything else that is in some way related to the Lifestyle. If you have a unique idea for a story, we want to hear from you!
If you are a skilled writer who would like to write for Kasidie Magazine, but you don't have any specific article ideas, you're welcome to submit a writing sample to our editor. If we like your sample we might just give you an assignment from our list of future articles.
INTERVIEWS
Our "Kasidie Interviews" are focused on people who are of particular interest to swingers. If you know of a celebrity or prominent Lifestyle personality that you can approach, we'd love to hear about it. Interviews should not just be a shameless plug for a movie, book, tv show or club; they should be interesting features that touch on the interviewees life, and on positive issues of sexuality and swinging (the person does not have to be a swinger, per se, but should be open to discussing the subject).
Original photos should accompany the interview, either provided by yourself or, on occasion, by a professional photographer assigned by Kasidie either during or after the interview. You MUST supply contact information for the interviewee, as all interviewees will be contacted by Kasidie and given a short window to review the transcript prior to publication.
CARTOONS AND EROTIC ARTWORK
We will occasionally publish cartoons and art with sex positive themes. Although swinger centric images and themes are preferred, we do accept cartoons and art with general sexual themes.
EROTICA FEATURES & SHORTS
We are looking for fast paced feature length erotic fiction and non-fiction to feature on Kasidie.com. Stories can cover any topic, however it must be erotic in nature, explicit, sex positive and be written expressly for swingers. The point of view should be from that of either a couple or a female.
We're looking for hot, steamy stories that are about more than just sex. We want to see stories with interesting themes and realistic characters; stories that provide people with a fantasy they will think about and be turned on by for hours, days and weeks after reading. It is critical that the story intrigue, capture, arouse and satisfy the reader.
Stories should be a maximum of 3,000 words in length.
Short erotic fiction with a maximum of 750 words and focused on lifestyle situations. These can be written in first person, voyeur, or any other form (except poetry, which we don't publish). Topics can range from stories of sexual adventures, anecdotes about first swinging experiences, best times, or pure fiction. It can cover almost any topic, so long as it is highly erotic.
As "shorts", these stories are hot and get to the action quickly. They may be funny or erotic, but never negative or painful. The lifestyle is about positive encounters and pleasure, and all submissions are measured against that standard.
