Las Vegas, Nevada
Chris and Mike opened the Las Vegas Red Rooster in their 800 sq. foot home in 1982. Their home has been open six nights a week ever since then. Twenty Five years later the Rooster Parties are still held in their home but it has grown to almost Thirteen Thousand sq. feet. On a normal week Nine Hundred to One Thousand people still come to the Vegas Red Rooster to party! They have taken pride in the fact that everyone is welcome in their home. Couples, Single men and women alike. They believe that the lifestyle should always be open to everyone. In April of 2004 they started opening their home on Sundays for even more people to come party. This is a couple that everyone should be proud of and Thankful for. They have worked six and seven days a week so that others would have a place to party for 24 years! You will still find them working each night that there is a party at the World Famous Las Vegas Red Rooster!

Wow, what can I say about the red rooster except we love it! I've read the couple bad reviews, I must say I think you went on the wrong nights. Friday, Saturday or Sunday for the hot tub parties are the only nights for a 30s-40s couple to go... The other nights are an older crowd and have only around 30 people. On Fridays and Saturdays, there are a couple hundred people of all shapes and sizes, hot and not... I have been going since I was 24 I'm 40 now and have never had a bad experience. The people are friendly, the amenities are great. If you don't like single guys, upstairs is couples only, strictly enforced. They have TVs with porn, an orgy room with 8 beds, a killer indoor pool and jacuzzi, a nice pool table, 2 bars where you bring your own alcohol and they mix it with their mixers and serve it to you free of charge, a great dance floor and a performer that sings, plays guitar and does a killer Neil Diamond impersonation along with playing DJ dance music. The party really gets going around 10 PM and there is public play along with many private bedrooms with security watching the doors. On the weekends they have free food. They have a locker room for your belongings, group rooms upstairs... It seems endless. Again the thing I want to stress is the fact that there isn't any stress or drama. First timers, find the dance floor and that first row of tables is usually the regulars and they are friendly as hell, go up and say hello they will invite you over and treat you like old friends. It might just be us you are talking to! No means no there but we have never felt pressured to do anything and there are security guards there to make you feel safe. There are as many people there just to hang out as there are there to play. The decor? Well it's got a 70s porn appeal to it, the lighting has a red hue to it but the wife likes that as she says it makes the skin look nicer... Lol. But do you really go to a lifestyle club for the decor anyway? This place is home, we've tried others, but we keep coming back to the rooster because its just what a lifestyle club should be, sexy, fun and welcoming.

Much older crowd than most swing joints, also as mentioned before some single men prowling around, the place , music & crowd seems to be stuck in time need to catch up with 2012.
Last time we were there only one bathroom was operational (the females) I know things happen and stuff breaks but you need to have more than one bathroom facilty, also cleanliness I would give it a 2½
But like I always tell folks ck it out & make your own opinions

Not the cleanest place but its a great place to meet people from all over the world. We go there quite offten and its like a second home for us sometimes. Saturdays are the best nights to go but because there are so many people it gets way to smokey so we dont stay to late.
Have fun and play safe!

This was the entry point for seeing what possibilities might exist out there. As time moved on, it became enjoyable for the kitsch factor and fact that you never had to worry if you were being judged--it was a little of everything. Sure it was never as new or sanitized as other places. However the last 2 visits show that it has gone from classic to dated, from fun to uncomfortable. Our last 2 visits have been unfortunate, including last week where we left after 20 minutes and reeked of smoke so much after 20 minutes that we changed clothes before going somewhere else.

We have been going to the Red Rooster for over 10 years.
We enjoy the old home feel of the Rooster. We like that everyone is permitted to party there. The food on the weekends is decent and the music is good.
The Rooster is not for everyone even though they are open to everyone. It is an older style swing party. If you are looking for a upscale night club type party then the Rooster is not for you.
If you are looking for a fun place with good people of all sizes, shapes and races that enjoy partying then the Rooster is great.
More than anything it is what YOU make of it.
