We have two options available:
1. Easy (for the groovy yet computer light)
2. Advanced (for those who know some html and css, and want to do a bit of customizing... this code is below)
Advanced Instructions
Okay, so you know HTML and want to make some changes? Fantastic! We've made it easy for you to change the height of the box (set it to "0" to display all parties without the scroll bar), to change the default State or Country, the background and link colors, or to hide the party graphics if you want. Here's how...
First, copy and paste the following code anywhere between the <head> and </head> tags at the top of the page on which you want the widget to display.
Here's a brief explanation of the css style definitions you just pasted to your document...
Widget attributes: You should NEVER change the width parameter, which is shown here as "280px"; the height parameter is entirely customizable (our default height shown in the code above is 600 pixels, but the example to the right is set for 1300). This is also the style definition where you can change the border width, style, and color; as well as the widget background color.
Drop down text style: This code controls the attributes of the State and Country drop-down boxes. Elements of this css may not work in all browsers.
Show text style: This code simply controls the style of the word "Show" above the City/Country drop down menu.
Party location and date text: Change the font, color, style, weight and size of the informational text under each hyperlinked party name.
Party links: This is the style of each clickable party name. Customize the hyperlinks in the widget that will take the user to that specific party information page. Size, font, color, style, weight and even rollover decoration are all customizable.
Next, copy the "script" code in the box below and paste it where you want it to appear on your webpage. It will automatically add your unique referral tracking code in it, so you'll get credit for everyone who clicks on ANY party and sign-ups on Kasidie!
Hide Party Images: Simple enough, the variable occurs after the var kasidie_hideimages = , so that in the example, 'false' means that you want to show the party graphics above each party name. Changing this example to 'true' will hide these images.
Default Country: Just replace the 'US' in var kasidie_defaultcountry = 'US'; to the country code of your choice. A full list of country codes can be found here.
Default State Just replace the 'NV' (our default "Nevada") in var kasidie_defaultstate = 'NV'; to the state code of your choice.
With these simple adjustments, you are able to fully customize the Kasidie Party Widget.
